Patricia Bay To Bamberton Beach

You have to wonder how much longer we'll be having weather like this for our Wednesday paddles. While the winds prevented Rob from planning a paddle closer to Sooke the conditions were perfect for a Saanich Inlet paddle. There can be quite a long walk when the tide is low but not today.
We welcomed Fred back today for this first paddle since his knee surgery. We had the front seat in Rob's double.
There were little wind gusts from every direction as we made out way along the west coast of Sannich Peninsula. We made the crossing to Bsmbrerton Beach at a point about half way between Yarrow Pt and Henderson Pt.
After lunch we followed the shore line. Some of the group made their way to Verdier Pt to make the crossing while a rebellious group made the crossing from Tanner Rk. We had some swell in the morning but we now had perfectly flat for the crossing
