Fleming Beach/Waterway Loop

Frost on the pumpkins this morning
As this was the paddle just before Halloween a good number of paddlers dressed up.
Today's plan was to do the Victoria Waterway Loop. While we've usually done this paddle in a clockwise direction to day we did it in a counter clockwise direction. We weather couldn't have been much better; sunny and hardly any wind and only a mild flood as we went under the Tillicum bridge. Arrived at the new ramp and loaded our boats on to our wheels for the short (.5km) portaqe. Lunch was on the beach at Portage Park. a few of us took the opportunity to take off a layer of clothing that we had put on at the launch site. After lunch we did the short paddle back to our launch.
No on water pictures from this paddle because I forgot to put the battery in my waterproof camera after charging it.
