Cooper Cove to Anderson Cove

The forecast of high winds along the south coast led to the decision to launch at Cooper Cove.  The plan was to follow the shoreline in a clockwise direction from Cooper Cove into Anderson Cove.   On leaving Anderson Cove we would head towards the Goodridge Islands and then into Roche  Cove where we would have lunch.
There was some wind as be paddle towards Anderson  but just as we approach the entrance to Anderson Cove the winds started to pick up.  After paddling around the cove we decided that we would stop for lunch at a little beach just inside the entrance.   On leaving the lunch site the winds were still blowing from the north so it was decided that we would paddle towards the Goodridge Islands and instead of heading to Roche Cove we would head back to the launch site.  The crossing was a little bumpy but not  anything any of the group could handle.
The group debriefed at the Stickleback restaurant and lasted just long enough for BCAA to arrive to unlock one of the paddlers vehicles.
Total distance paddled was 6.8nm
